    The opening of the Schiller Bräu and the mk | hotel münchen city is a dream come true for me. I am a passionate host and view an inn as a large living room that I open up for friends. At my place, you can spend cozy hours and take a break from the daily business. This is exactly the feeling that I would like to convey with the Schiller Bräu - giving my guests a piece of home and providing a heartful, courteous and professional service together with my team.     I grew up in a family characterised by gastronomy. To me, this is not only an occupation, but also a passion. I love making the stays of our guests unforgettable, surprising them with little details. This allows me to live out my creativity and bring in new influences. Gastronomy is a world that never stands still. The most beautiful feeling is when guests say their good-bye with a smile and add “thanks for the nice evening, you are a great team!”

    Brewing beer is a matter of heart to me, craft and tradition. During a work placement at Giesinger Bräu, I discovered my love for the occupation of a brewer and maltster. After my apprenticeship and the subsequent occupation at Augustiner Bräu, I now look forward to new and creative assignments at Schiller Bräu. To be involved in this all the way from the start, fascinating our guests with traditional beers and changing specialities, is a challenge that I gladly accept.

      Why enjoy working in gastronomy this much? You get to know and appreciate so many different people. Also, the kindness of the people around you is something you don´t experience very often. At the same time, I think it´s great how one can bring in their own creativity. I enjoy being around people and feel great when guests say their goodbye with the words: “It was just great, I look forward to coming here again.”

      I live and breathe being a cook, and have been for over 30 years. I have cooked in several restaurants, pensions and hotels, gaining my experience. Being a trainer of apprentices, I enjoy passing on this experience to our young cooks. I´ve been living in Bavaria for nine years. I love the country, the people and the Bavarian cuisine. And now, I look forward to my new role at the Schiller Bräu.

      I got into gastonomy by chance: in 1992, when I was a "Zugroaster" (newcomer), I started working as a kitchen assistant for Munich´s oldest inn, which is also where I got to know and love the Bavarian cuisine and the Bavarian host mentality. Each day is different, and I enjoy meeting interesting and diverse people from various countries. I look forward to my new tasks, in particular to being part of the Schiller Bräu Family from the very beginning.
